Not the Talkative Type, Are You?

One of my very favorite 'yard birds', I know, I know, I say that about all the birds! I do love Brown Thrashers though! They closely resemble our Northern Mockingbird, except that they spend much of their time on the ground hunting for insects in the leaf litter. But they also enjoy what we serve at our feeders, especially the mix we offer in the Fall and Winter, since it contains lots of nuts and dried fruits! I've been seeing quite a few Fall Warbles and other migrating types. Yeah for the 'change of seasons'!
