Afternoon Tea

A day of brilliant sunshine for the opening day of our camera club's Print Exhibition. It's the first time we've done anything like this and, if today is anything to go by, it will be a great success. We are open again tomorrow and then everything will be dismantled.

We are fortunate that one of our members has a large barn just right for this sort of thing. Visitors were able to browse the exhibition and then sit in the sun for a cup of tea or coffee and chat, so all very sociable. I was delighted with the high standard on show and also that most members had entered one or more prints - for some, it's the first time they have printed any of their images. There was no judging, just enjoyment of what we have all done. It's not often that one is able to see so much work in one place.
