Formby beach

A lovely day spent with JulesB. We started in one location but found our way closed off and we were unable to do the intended walk.  We decided to go to Formby woods hoping to see the red squirrels but apparently they are not well at the moment. We ended up on the beach and enjoyed some time photographing the patterns in the sand. We soon realised the tide was coming in fast and eroding the subject matter,  as well as where we were standing. Before we got cut off we headed back for some lunch. 

I got home at 4.30pm, with only 2.5hrs to prepare and cook a three course meal for five, set the table and have a shower. It was like Masterchef, especially when I announced to myself "one hour remaining". 

Everything came together in time and we had a lovely evening. The worst part is now having all the clearing up to do!
