The Leisure Society
After a day at work that was extended more than was planned I managed to get back and head over to Oxford to see a band called The Leisure Society play at a small venue called The Bullingdon Arms. They have been around for about 10 years, had Ivor Novello nominations for their songwriting and scored films and music associated with the Olympics. As established artists their stagecraft was an excellent and produced a great, intimate gig. Seeing quite a few new artists over the years it is interesting to see how those that are more comfortable on stage make time to chat and draw you along during the evening.
