The Big Moon

A smaller group today - allegedly strategising. High point was the grilled aubergine for lunch :)

After work, I take buses to Alexandra Palace for The Big Moon supporting The Pixies. It’s a sell out gig, so I get there early and install myself, with a taco, near the stage.

The Big Moon are excellent (once the sound desk get things sorted out during their first number). They play four tracks off their album and a handful of songs that are new to me.

The Pixies follow with a long set containing all their well known tunes as well as many more. Hot and sweaty, a mosh pit of old and young. Fun.
