Grey day

We came to the mountains last night for our final skiing weekend of the year. Sadly today’s weather has been awful, lightning storms with high winds so we only managed an hour or so on the slopes before coming back to our hotel. Every time we almost went out again, the weather dropped off again.

So we’ve made the most of the other resource - Rugby World Cup. We managed to catch the opening game last night, just watched Australia beat Fiji (a difficult call on supporting as Fiji’s number 2 is a Royal Navy sailor, but we are in Australia), and settling in for the rest of the day with France v Argentina and New Zealand v South Africa.

Looks like tomorrow will be better to squeeze in a few final runs!
