Urban Jungle

I would have liked to have some photos of all the kids (and others) among the thousands in Seattle who rallied today for solutions to the climate crisis along with the rest of the world.     But it was a day  I just couldn’t manage downtown and crowds.  I hope someone listened to them..it won’t be the White House and it’s depressing to think how badly the USA NEEDS to be a leader who cares about our planet.     
Seattle schools gave the kids who walked out an unexcused absence ( there’s no law that says they couldn’t have excused them!) and our grandkids had tests to take in school, altho they would have liked to participate. They're very good students.  

Did manage a neighborhood walk and a bit of time in the back patio sweeping and trimming the jungle.  This is down the line of 8 more 15 foot wide townhouses and their back patios.
