Full & Empty

Flummoxed is a nice and silly word.

I’m flummoxed because at 9.30pm, the tube station at Southgate was properly packed, but then my road, walking away from the station was empty.

I wonder whether everyone got off the train, stepped on to the escalator going up, let me go through the turnstiles alone, and then all went back down on the escalator and waited for the next train. Otherwise, where are they all? In an Uber?
