Secret garden

theres a large house and garden in the middle of the town here which is usually surrounded by very high railings, a fence behind, closed gates and no way of peering in at it. It was built by the Violet family who set up the 'Byrrh' empire here and rumour has it that an old lady descendant now lives there and although the grounds used to be open to the public occasionally she had a row with the Mairie and now its permanently off limits. Today however I noted some of the higher fence has been taken down so I could take a few sneaky photos in a small gap . I was expecting something rather derelict but it looks very well maintained.
