Chiavenna

The weather in Lenno was looking quite cloudy this morning so we said we would take our visitor to Chiavenna, a town to the north west of Lake Como on the way to St. Moritz.

We had not gone far north up the lake when we were back into sunshine. For sunshine we should maybe have stayed in the northern end of Lake Como.

By the time we reached Chiavenna the weather had deteriorated slightly again. We were still able to sit out for lunch, but it could have been a little bit warmer.

It was a nice drive back down the lake in the afternoon, but cloudy again in Lenno. Weather in this area has lots of microclimates.
