Back home

We left Bude just after 9 a.m. and arrived home just before 3 p.m. after a bit of a stop/start journey. We left the very busy M5 at junction 11a but immediately hit a traffic jam and eventually found a Jaguar which had broken down on a hill and in the outside passing lane. Then just outside Milton Keynes a bus had broken down on a left-hand bend, causing quite a queue.

The house was very cold to come into so the heating’s been on for a while, and I’ve also done a small wash while JJ has been out to water the very sad looking plants.

It’s been a wonderful ten days away, painful at times but oh so satisfying to have beaten the hills and finished off the north coast. Just Fowey to Plymouth to do now.
