"Muckle Coo."

AND - not a bad sight from the van at our campsite. Thanks to Jerra's conscientious log-keeping, I can say we were near Mey; having paid homage to John o' Groats en route, and lost my hat there. NOT the wind, just dropped un-noticed from its neck string/"chin strap".

The 1st extra is a 300mm mirror lens shot of the stack. The wee white smudge, on close inspection, seems to be either a herring gull or a Black-backed of the same. Since none of the places I looked was kind enough to offer a height (Length-yup, Wing-span ditto, likewise weight; height-NO chance; it's pure guessimetry, but Jerra estimated, if I remember, 15-20, or more feet stack height.
By an odd coincidence, a Youtuber, (Carlisle 195) within days of this did a similar shot to extra #2.
"Winter drawers on"?
