Naked Ladies

This autumn flowering plant is often known as Naked Ladies because it is denuded of leaves, which only appear in the spring. It is not a crocus, it belongs to lily genus. Here, in Poland it is known as Zimowit, which can be translated to Dawn of Winter. It does bring lovely colour to the autumn flower bed were most blooms have already gone over.
