Hotwells' chimney pots

It is late and I'm tired after a fun day trip to Bristol to meet our friends Pip and Mary. As Woodpeckers has described the events so amusingly, I shall take the lazy course of hoping you visit her to find out more.

This shot was taken as we descended from Clifton to Hotwells down lanes and footpaths I hadn't discovered before, after our climb up from the River Avon beneath the suspension Bridge. I like this unusual view towards the painted houses which look out over the Floating Harbour. I rather like the assembly of chimney pots of these very elegant old houses in this interesting old sector of the port.
