There are thousands of geese at Aberlady Bay and probably many are resting after their long flight from Iceland and Greenland or Scandinavia.  About a thousand of Greylags arrived in late August and now the Pink-footed geese are starting to arrive in their hundreds and soon there could be between 10,000 and 30,000 geese.  I know this is a poor photo and the geese are not easy to see but it’s a record of my day.
