A short detour

I had a meeting this moring but on the way home decide to stop off for a few minutes at Lunt Meadows. I hadn't been for a while and it was such a lovely bright day. I'm so glad I did, although I took a wrong turn and ended up walking a lot further than I intended. There was so much to see today the water was full of a variety of geese and wetland birds including hundreds of Lapwings. I also spotted a butterfly I hadn't blipped beofre - I think it's a speckled Wood. There were also some beautiful cows and a dragonfly all enjoying the sun.
