Morgan

The new Morgan Plus Six made its appearance this evening at the Westerham Brewery Classics and Curry night.

This is a monthly event but the first time I have been able to attend this year.

We went with Sally and Arthur who drove their Morgan , and I went with Ian in Spitty, his 1968 Spitfire. Arthur had organised a contingency of cars from Brands Hatch Morgans to come along and it included their latest model .

It was very cold this evening and I am suffering with the cold more than in the past. In spite of wearing lots of layers , I could not get warm. As a result I did not walk around looking at all the lovely classic cars, which was a shame as there were some very beautiful ones. It was a good turnout with at least fifty cars.

In case any one is interested - the Morgan Plus Six was launched in July. It is 3 litre with a six turbo engine producing 335bhp at a starting price of £77,995. And it has power steering unlike the original Morgans.
