Baddesley Clinton

It was a lovely sunny day so we went to Baddesley Clinton, the National Trust property near Solihull.   Coffee first then packed lunch on a bench in the sun.

We went for a walk round the lakes and into the kitchen garden.  In the main garden the house has a large border of different dahlias.  All sizes and colours, full of bees and butterflies, see extra.

The theme for today's Abstract Thursday hosted by Ingeborg is 'Fill the Frame'.  I think this fits the bill, the outer frame is filled with what was a yellow dahlia head, the inner frame is also filled with the same dahlia. Both given a somewhat abstract makeover!
