Changes

A beautifully sunny day, almost as hot as in the height of summer.

Up early for Alan's bloods this morning and no phone call so we assume that all is well for his treatment tomorrow.

This afternoon I had arrange to meet mum and my sister to renew mum's Blue Badge and then take her out for tea.   What an inquisition at the offices.   Mum will be 90 next February and I think we can assume that her mobility will not have improved over the last three years!   We have now to call in the morning to take in the list of all her medication.   The lady completing the form was most apologetic but she has to follow the system!

Whilst out I had a message from an ex-work friend who was calling to  see us.   Once again lovely to see her and catch up again.
