Old iron works village, canal and Abbey

Forge des Salle looked interesting on the iPad and I’m sure it was, although I didn’t look right to end of the website, we arrived, having spent ages looking for the place, to find its only open over the weekends in September. Top two pics of collage taken when peeking over the fence at this restored village.

However along our ‘lost’ way the Brest Nantes canal and Abbey came into view and tucked in the corner a cafe, just in time to order omelette and chips before last orders. A lovely spot for food and view and not too busy.
