Edwardian Postbox

I love taking photos of all different postboxes including the Victorian hexagonal Penfold boxes, the gold 2012 Olympic ones and all the ones depicting the different reigning monarchs from Victoria to Elizabeth II.

This particular Edwardian box is near to work and I love to imagine who used it 100yrs ago and if it’s been relocated or has always stood there?

As a little aside, the 1st uk postboxes painted red were in July 1874 in London :-)
