... since I walked at Firkin Point. Summer means many tourists and the National Park’s brilliant idea about making money by charging people to camp where there are no or few facilities means it is an obstacle course there now.
I didn’t take Skye-girl, Ghyll being out of action as a poor pooch with a poorly paw, and I’m glad I didn’t. I met the lady with the Bichon Frise who now has two and she’d had to put them on a lead as someone has left a load of semi-bbq’d chicken behind them.
Which just confirms that the NP need to seriously up their litter picking and ditch this stupid camping idea!! A good walk gone west.
