Aare bike ride

I rushed home from work early, made and ate dinner, then hopped on the bike down to the River Aare. I'd been on Sunday night, but well before sunset, and made a plan to come back on a fine weeknight. There are two great swing bridges crossing an island in the rever here. It was absolutely beautiful, and so lovely to have an hour out on the bike. It was pretty dark on the way home though.
