A ..........

 .............. mural (and a small car on the roof) of the aptly named "Witham & Blues" pub at Langrick Bridge in Lincolnshire - the pub is by the River Witham!   I love a play on words.   :o))

I have been wanting a photo of this for ages (I pass it probably three times a month when on "missions") and the traffic light, at red, on the bridge gave me the opportunity to take this from the car, through the open passenger window, while I waited on my way home around 17.30 at the end of my day - well, nearly the end.

Now a rant! 
  
I had to meet a German colleague at Manchester Airport (T1) today ...... and I have decided that Manchester now usurps Luton airport for awfulness  .............  the signage is appalling,  the arrivals area (I could not call it a "lounge") is cramped and really badly designed with low ceilings, the car parking is a joke - there is building work going on (until April 2020 I was told so the multi-storey parking is VERY limited) - in the arrivals short stay parking/pick-up area the spaces are very small and higgledy-piggledy and with only two payment machines working (it's a token system) the queues were very long (out in the open so I'm glad it wasn't raining) and people were really moaning and complaining that, because of those long lines, their time parked went over the allotted "blocks" and therefore the fee went up from £4.50 to £7.00 or £7.00 to £10.00 and so on,   I can claim my fee back so not that bad for me.  

Outside the T1 entrance/exit people congregate and smoke in a gloomy dirty area, there are steps all over the place, the pavements are narrow .......... I could go on and on and on and ........... well, you get the idea.

This is an international airport so I hate to think what first-time travellers to the UK think when they arrive!    Rant over!

My shoulder is definitely on the mend although I can't lift anything heavy or take any weight on it (like pushing myself up from a sofa or bed) but it's easing - it does ache though - thank you for your continued good wishes and advice.
It's sod's law - work has been pretty quiet lately but, this week, I have three 'missions' - the third tomorrow - just when I could do with resting!!
