Cleaning the Windscreen

I came down to Kings Cross this morning on the HST on the right, and a very comfortable and pleasant ride it was too.

I spent the afternoon on calls and at meetings in Shoreditch, and the evening at a pleasant and productive work dinner in Mayfair.

At dinner I was referred to as "bringing diversity to the event". As a male, white, middle class, middle aged, privately educated, CIS gendered straight person, that's not usually my role, especially in a room that already seemed pretty diverse to me (about 50/50 female/male entrepreneurs and investors, only about 50% white). However, being from "outside London" apparently makes me the diversity!
