Kirkcudbright

After checking out from our hotel this morning Gill and I stopped off at Carlingwark Loch - see extra - for a wee dauner.

Next stop was the glorious Threave Garden, where we could quite easily have spent the whole day, but Gill is still wearing a 'boot' while recovering from foot surgery, so is limited to how much walking she can do.

Back in the car to tootle down to Kirkcudbright for lunch and another exploratory stroll, which is when I blipped these brightly-painted beach huts. There were quiite a few interesting pieces of street art in the town.

We are now back in Troon for the night and I'll head home to Balfron tomorrow.
