Banana Flower

Do take a moment to take a look at my *extra...yeaterday I was doing some Yardening when I heard the high pitched sounds of a hummingbird. I looked around at all of the flowers but couldn't see the hummer. I finally found it, it's tiny body wedged between some palm frond 'stems'. It was making a buzzing sound and try as it might, couldn't free itself. I'm usually hesitant to play goddess, but I reached in and freed the tiny bird. I called for C to come and record the rescue (of course) and after she had taken a couple of phone shots, the little thing, apparently none the worse for wear, recovered and flew off. Whew!
