Cottages 4 you.

J went off this morning to do a job on a friends motorbike, and as soon as he had left British Gas phoned to book us in for our yearly boiler service. He wanted to know if we wanted it done straight  away, but I like J to be here when it's done, so he then suggested this afternoon, after 1 o'clock and I agreed that would be fine.  I did various housewifey jobs, and J was back in time for a coffee , and we sat outside in the sunshine. The engineer turned up and I stayed out the garden reading until he had finished. The boiler has a clean bill of health, and we are all set for Winter. I didn't have a blip, so I had the brilliant idea ( well I thought it was)to go to Merthyr Mawr and photograph the cottage we saw on BBC1 on Sunday night, called Off the Beaten Track. We saw  Kate Humble talking to the thatcher, up on the scaffolding,  actually working on this  very cottage. .
