"come fly with me"

No matter how many times I make the journey from home back to Dundee, the goodbyes at the airport never get any easier! I hate leaving home and my parents, and no amount of Ormo pancakes or Tayto crisps are ever going to change that!

Today was like every other last Sunday at home - church, last roast dinner for a month or so (2 weeks of mum trying to fatten me up has resulted in no weight gain!! Something I have needed to do ever since my jaw surgery in July!) and then undertaking what has now become known as "The Granny Run" - no not the addictive smart phone app but actually visiting my 2 grannies every Sunday afternoon! It always gives my friend Jayney a giggle when I tell her I've been on the granny run!

And with that the road to Belfast and indeed the runway at the airport beckoned - hence the difficult goodbyes! My current location is Edinburgh Airport, waiting for the bus into the city before taking the 'delightful' midnight train to Dundee! :( At this rate, I'm going to need more than my alarm clock to wake me up in time for work in the morning!! :(
