Ignoring a red light?

I wanted to visit Brussels while the UK is still part of the EU. It was a fascinating visit to the “heart of Europe”. We walked miles around the city centre. The Grand Place was much more touristic than I remembered it from my previous visit here in 1972. (The current UK PM was down the road in Luxembourg today! ) We had a lovely meal of Syrian street food at a very busy restaurant near our Art Deco apartment in the evening.
