Central Corsica

Today we cut across the centre of Corsice from Corte to Porto via the Gorge de Spelunca. Corte proved a test to find parking again but was impressive in a small way. The drive across the middle however was spectacular with the gorge seeming to disappear into the centre of the earth.
We eventually came out on the West coast by Porto to an almost perfect campsite with shaded quiet pitches, an excellent swimming pool for Tricia and a restaurant with stunning views of both the setting sun over the seas and the mountains. Never has a pizza tasted so good!
