A bridge less blipped
This is the Gladesville Bridge. I sail under it going to and coming from work each day and this was taken from the wharf this evening. It was completed in 1964. It is less grand that the coathanger or the Anzac bridge but I blipped the coathanger last week and it is too wet and cold to go out for the Anzac bridge tonight.
This is what Wiki says about it:
Gladesville Bridge is an arch bridge near Gladesville that spans the Parramatta River. It links the suburbs of Huntleys Point and Drummoyne. When it was completed in 1964, Gladesville Bridge was the longest single span concrete arch ever constructed.
It was opened by Princess Marina on 2 October 1964.
