Magnolia

Today I received a couple of congratulatory messages via Linkedin. Today is a work anniversary with my present employer now 11 years, I am the only original employee left from when our Company won the contract and have now seen our 4th Manager. I started working when I was 17.5 and with 8 years to go until I can retire.  I have been working for 39 years and the longest I have served with one employer was 21 years, when I left it felt like the best thing that had ever happened. 
 I have a great role at work and certainly am making the most of it and realistically I am busier than I have ever been, not bad considering in May it was only a one month trial. In the words of Jody Victor " If it's to be it's up to me"
