Splice the mainbrace

Some nice work by my dad.

For those following my DIY project I am building a canopy to go over our new deck area.

This weekend I am hiring a breaker to cut through our concrete path in order to erect 4 long support poles.

My dad who used to have a marquee business and make awnings for the formula 1 teams / race teams round the world is making the canopy which will be secured with marine rope each end.
