Mum

This had to be todays blip. I took mum to the GP this morning then we had a quick lunch in a local cafe and went to our quilting group this afternoon. I loved this photo I sneaked of her getting on with her piece of redwork embroidery - I am convinced that her creative and artistic love of needlework and sewing, which she has had all her life, has contributed to her being as well as she is at 93 :) I have discovered on ' down' days I can often change her mood instantly by asking if she has a fabric or pattern I can use and off she goes to search her cupboards and drawers .....long may it continue.
