Telling a story

with photos!     Selfie day #2 was a walk at my favorite little waterfall closest to my house, Horseshoe Falls.    It was not unbearable hot this morning so I decided to go up to the falls which are an hour away to get some outdoor photos for my photo class.   I am sure the instructor wanted us to do styled portraiture but I am styling with Nature!    

So the hubby got to sit in the shade on a log while I played with the camera and got my feet in the water.   I REALLY wanted to climb those rocks but I did not even though my ankle feels pretty strong now.  The cool water felt wonderful on my ankle!!    We did take time to walk along the trail here to get a two mile walk completed.  This area is the site of an American Revolution battle with the Patriots and the British so we did read the signs along the way.  At a stopping point on the trail there is a graveyard but we did not walk that far as it was getting too hot. 

 Heading to the mountains of South Carolina tomorrow with the camper for a few days!   Much cooler weather up there in the higher elevations!
