Beehives....

We still have 5 of the 11 beehives that we were looking after this summer....their owner was supposed to be taking them home a few weeks ago.....mmmmm....i'm not worried cos they have a very amazing survival instinct and will be creating enough heat in there to keep them alive!

It's been busy here today....2 cabins were being vacated, by the couples that couldn't get up the hill when they arrived! so we had to take them, and all their gear, down to the bottom of the hill. No big deal, we're happy to help out. The roads department have been very good the past few days and have ploughed and sanded the hill!

Headed out for a walk around 3.30pm....it was pretty cold - about -8, so i only went a little ways into the forest.

We did have a great time in Sydney yesterday, a bit of shopping, a coffee at the new Ugly Mug cafe where the mugs i made for them are apparently flying out the door....Yeah!!!! then to see the Hobbit....in 3D! it was spectacular! This movie brings a whole new meaning to the word Epic! and in 3D - felt like you were right there! Just total, unabashed, thrilling entertainment, just what i love about going to the movies. Then to our favorite Chinese restaurant - it was lovely!
