River Wey
This morning I met a friend and his toddler son to go for a walk along the tow path of the River Wey. Mummy and new baby were at home having some rest while our friend took his son out. They invited Xena and I to join them and we had a pleasant walk in beautiful weather along the river. Xena was very well behaved with the toddler and only jumped up on him once!
I also took some photos of the toddler which was not easy as he is going through a stage of not wanting to look at the camera. The reflections along the river were beautiful in the bright sunshine. An extra of Xena - she sat down along the walk and looked like she was asking for her photo to be taken! I am taking photos of the new baby on Friday, which will be fun.
Then home in time to tackle a pile of ironing before lunch. The weather has been absolutely gorgeous all day, and so this afternoon Xena and I had another walk in our local woods - the sunlight on the bracken and heather was lovely.
I had better start go start supper, all those hungry men to feed! Luke and his friend will be moving out on Saturday to their flat in London, as hopefully they will have built their beds by then and can build the rest of the furniture over the weekend and next week.
