Silly Saturday ....

.... Schpotyaahr Fesch* (Fall Festival).

I wanted to do something different today so I suggested going to this 17th annual living history event in Weisenberg Township.  This festival demonstrates life of the Pennsylvania Germans in this area.

We had fun walking around and visiting the museum .... lots of interesting things to see.  I knew as soon as I saw this cutout picture that it would have to be my silly Saturday blip if I could get someone to take our picture.  We recruited a woman walking by who readily took our picture.  Unfortunately, she only took one!  And in that one and only picture I was making a stupid silly face!  Luckily I'm backblipping this so very few people will see it!

* I took this wording right from the paper but I can't seem to find the translation of the word "schpotyaahr" in German to mean "fall".
