Rhino
Spent the morning in Matopos Park looking for rhino, on foot. First encounter with a huge solitary male then later a family group of 2 juvenile males, female & calf. Beautiful prehistoric looking creatures.
Not difficult to find as each of the 66 rhino in the park is guarded 24 x 7 and they radio our guide where they are. Each rhino is de-horned as it still can sell for crazy money. Mad. Sad.
Cave paintings and Cecil Rhodes grave with breathtaking granite boulder scenery.
Lunch back at the lodge then I spent a couple of hours back at the viewing hide enjoying the peace. Another wonderful day.
