060113 - Woofer Pickle

This is Pickle - he is a rescue Border Terrier cross and he is about 2 years old.

Pickle and his Mum Sophie (Norfolk Terrier) have been with us since April 2012. They went to Dogstrust because there owner was not walking them and the neighbours were complaining about the barking. Pickle had never been out on a lead and apparent poop quite badly the first time they tried to put a lead on him and take him out for a walk :(

When he first came to us - he couldn't bark but he has definitly found his voice and now barks at everything. He is scared of everything....I mean everything - dishwasher/oven/ironing board/clothes and every day he finds something new to be scared of.

But he is very cheeky and playful and likes to eat everything. He has a particular fancy for headphones and underwear! The last thing he ate was Sophie's collar, which resulted in a quick dash to the vets. We are still waiting for the buckle and all the crystals to re-appear.

Everytime we come home - however long it may be (5 minutes/1hour) it's like we have been gone days and the welcome brightens the greyest of days. I love him very much and would not have him any other way (well except maybe the howling at 3am).
