Old and New

Bit of a mix and match day today. Left Blackpool to spend the morning at Hoghton Tower. Built in the 1500’s. A 90 minute guided tour just to us by super volunteer Jeff fill us in on all of the house’s history, including the origins of ‘sirloin’

The afternoon was spent wandering around Blackburn city centre discovering street art! We were very successful!

Dinner at the local pub where we are saying. Beef and suet pie and a local ale. Delicious!
