Quick Dip

Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,

I decided that we were going to have a family walk today on the beach which did not fill The Youngest Mini Princess with glee. This appeared to add insult to the injury of the previous day’s gardening task.

But watching Murphy digging holes in the sand and running in and out of the sea makes everyone feel happy. YMP even quietly told EMP that she wasn’t hating the walk and might actually be having a nice time!

The tide was high and we kept having to jump away from the waves The Prince grabbed YMP to pretend that he was going to throw her in but lost his footing. He managed to let her go but had to do a kind of comedy run in a circle to catch up with himself so he didn’t tumble. Straight into the sea!

We (including the rather soggy Prince) were crying with laughter. It was hilarious and YMP said the walk had been worth it just to see that!
