Sparkles

Overnight drizzle and a bit of torchlight resulted in sparkle.
Met my friend for a very "strange" lunch - we apologised for putting them to the trouble!! The landlady was particularly miserable and unwelcoming, her dog had died on Friday and her husband who is in a carehome is getting worse. Today we were the only two customers - I sympathise on all counts but we have been going for years and just a "nice to see you both" would have made a great difference.
