Fifty Up

A grand day out! For twas the significant birthday of my Blip dad, the madcap Zen master, JS. So we did what you do with a hungover sailor - took him for a spin over to Aberdour. There to quaff champers, do the candle thing on the cake, and serve hedgehogs graced with pineapple and cheese cubes, cocktail sausages, cherries and silverskin onions. Very 1969 - as was the album we presented him with. Let’s hope Lloyd next door enjoys it too.
A cracking day out (we’ll overlook the glasses and cafetière) - many thanks to the young Magpie for being such a calming influence and not ribbing me too much about that mainsail mystery. Cheers!
