Mini Science Fair
I took a bunch of photos of Holly's classmates as they had their 1st grade Sciense Fair today. I particularly liked this one of Charlie as he posed for a shot. What a great beaming face.
So forcing myself to only do mono-tone blips is quite a challenge. Taking colour out of the equation really changes things. There are a lot of shots that just end up very flat or blah when converted to grayscale. It's quite surprising. The other big issue is using Lightroom, which is what I use. It's not very good at mono-tone conversion, I find. I have to go to photoshop to get any half decent results, and that is a lot more work for me.
Still, it very edifying to do this process, and I like the challenge.
