Ahmed's pot shop

Mjidou appeared today having finished his work contact with Acciona. He'd been selling tickets for the ferry company at Port Tanger Med.

He drove us out to Wadi Mersa. As we entered Ksar Sghrir, we saw that Ahmed's pot shop is STILL open. We've been buying ceramics from Ahmed since 2007. He was supposed to have sold up and moved to the mountains three years ago to accommodate new roads and housing development in Ksar Sghrir. Evidently it hasn't happened yet.

I chose a mini tagine to take back for Sue. Much to our surprise, not only did he give us the tagine but also a ready wrapped present, a decorated mirror with doors that open on it. He must have been expecting us. I was so very grateful. He's a lovely man.
