A very poorly 50 year old Christmas Tree.

Since we moved into our house 37 years ago, we have had a Christmas tree at the bottom of our garden, this tree was planted by the first owners of the house in 1965. At the beginning of this year the branches started to die off and ended up looking like the first image of the collage. It was higher than a two story house and I became worried incase it fell down or branches would fall off and possibly causes injury to visitors or neighbours. So I had it cut down, the next shot is halve the size of the trunk and the third is just the stump. It took three workers two days to get it down. I counted the rings and there were fifty.
