Sunny, Hot & Dehydrated
Sam was still in Plymouth so following breakfast Josh and I set off for Redruth and his rugby match, Clare stayed at home for some peace and quiet.
The rugby was “boys against men”, played in 20* temperatures, Redruth play four levels above Falmouth and any member of their second XV today would walk into Falmouth’s first XV but the lads stuck at it and despite the heat and gulf in class didn’t let themselves down.
I dropped Josh back in Falmouth and headed off to Truro to collect Sam.
Home for a Spanish Chicken dinner and the start of a new book, a real book, Testament of Youth by Vera Brittain.
