A Postcard from London
We booked out of our Airbnb this morning and headed for Paddington Station. Due to closures at Marylebone a lot of train passengers were also diverted to Paddington. Our journey comprised three trains, the first two of which were standing room only. Luckily we managed to get seats though had to move various times as people said the seats were reserved. After a while the announcement said No Seats Are Reserved!
The second leg Reading to Leamington was just as busy, Cross Country Rail having only put on a four, three if you excuse First Class, carriage train. again we managed to get seats, but not together.
Finally the last leg to Stratford was more manageable with no standing.
The dry weather had taken a toll on the garden and Ann has been out there reviving plants and cutting grass whilst I unpacked and then settled to the serious topic of sorting the pics. I didn't take any new photos today, dying flowers not being the most picturesque subject, so this is a random bunch of some of the photos taken on one of the days, Monday I think.
